Picture View has eight homes (four summer cottages and four year round homes) comprising a cozy community which enjoys 200 feet of waterfront on Newfound Lake with a sandy beach sloping gradually into the clear waters of the lake. Two acres of land on a private road offer running room for the energetic. A basketball hoop and a play area with swings and toys offer diversions for children of all ages. Although our cottages have full kitchen facilities, you could eat out for every meal at restaurants within a short drive during your week at Newfound Lake and still leave a restaurant or two that you haven't visited! A fireplace on the beach provides relaxing campfires with congenial company in the evenings after a day in the sun at the beach or an interesting foray into one of the many local attractions, entertaining and educational.

Bristol
retains its small-town atmosphere while providing many conveniences
not available elsewhere. A full-service grocery is located less than
5 miles from Picture View and a very complete convenience store is
located next to us on West Shore Road. A number of gift and
antique shops are located right in Bristol center, and a great many
more are in the vicinity. Nearby Tilton offers the Tanger Outlet Center stores, a
Smitty's Cinema and an
abundance more of small shops and department stores.
Wellington State Park is just around the bend from us at Picture View with trails for hiking and one of the best launch ramps around. Fishing is always popular at Newfound - one of the few lakes with landlocked salmon as well as trout, bass and many other fish species. |
